Rodney Gardiner
Rodney Gardiner most recently played Cord Elam, Ensemble in Oklahoma! and Orson, Ensemble in The Way the Mountain Moved at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In eight seasons there, roles included Cassius, Plebeian, Ensemble in Julius Caesar; Terror #4: Blacksmith in UniSon; Feste in Twelfth Night; Tinman in The Wiz; Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls; Dromio of Louisiana and Harlem in The Comedy of Errors; Coughlin, Rook in The Unfortunates; Sir Thomas Grey, Duke of Orleans, Michael Williams in Henry V; Guy in The Imaginary Invalid; Rumour, Pistol, Gower, Harcourt in Henry IV, Part Two; Pirate, Police in The Pirates of Penzance; and Ben Pettus in American Night.
Other theater credits include Off Broadway: Dr. Martin Luther King in The King Operetta, King Darius in The Persians, Kublai Khan in Marco Millions, others (Waterwell); and Regional: Caesar Wilks in Gem of the Ocean (Fountain Theatre); Cymbeline, Man of La Mancha (Utah Shakespeare Festival). He was also a writer at Waterwell and worked with Teo Castellanos performing in jails, rehab centers and homeless shelters in Miami, Florida.
