I've seen several performances of plays specifically written to be performed on Zoom and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the online experience. This one was one of the most intimate and more so than you could have gotten at a live performance, I think. A very good use of the technology. "Lonesomes" was one of the most innovative pieces I've seen. Very deep and engaging. Superb writing, acting and directing. One of my favorite performances of Armando's over the many years we've been watching him. The plays were a good depiction of the experience of a family mired in alcoholism and the damage it wreaks; of the ways we mask and cope with pain; and of the bonds of love between the family members despite estrangement and brokenness.
